Neues Jahr, neues Glück - 2008 kehrten wir zurück nach Bork, verstärkt durch Carsten und seine Freundin Lena. Auch wenn viele der früheren Museumsleute in diesem Jahr fehlten, machten wir
schnell neue Bekanntschaften. Neben Kämpfen, Kochen, Bänderweben und Lederarbeiten kamen Sticken, Töpfern und Schnitzen als Aktivitäten hinzu. Lena widmete sich dem Verzieren eines
Trinkhorns.

Another year, another try - in 2008 we returned again to Bork Viking Harbor, this year reinforced by Carsten and his girlfriend Lena. Staff had changed
and some of the people were absent his year, but new aquaintances were soon made.Mikkel, in charge of the Museum at the time, enriched Katharina’s cooking with fabulous new Viking Age
receipts; as well as fighting and feasting, we did leather working, band weaving, pottery, embroidery, and wood cutting. Lena started on designing a drinking horn. This year I made some
video shots of our activities, so there is a small (about 6 minutes, 199 MB) movie here to give some impressions of the museum, the landscape, the people and of course, of ourselves. Go
