So... we did it again. The Bork Harbour Viking Museum had made an impact upon us that could not be denied. We returned - to
the houses, the ships, to Thorkild and his crew of devoted reenactors - so as to bring the magnicifent Viking age back to life.
Unfortunately, Carsten could not
accompany us this year. For the first time, our she-dog came to Bork, adding to the Viking age flavour on a different level. Due to unreliable weather, fighting was not as much as the years before. Instead we learned some new period crafts and techniques.
So old and new experiences added to another great reenactment time, which is nowhere better than in Denmark. Mead
shared, swords crossed, and friendship renewed... a time we won’t forget.
