Willkommen auf der Internetsite von Duncan Meredyth, meinem künstlerisch-mittelalterlichen Pseudonym. Auf diesen Seiten stelle ich einige meiner Arbeiten vor, gebe Einblick in meine Exkursionen ins zeitgenössische Mittelalter und referiere über mir wichtige Themen wie historischen Schwertkampf, Kampfkunst und Philosophie und alte Lebensformen. Eine Sammlung von teils historischen Kurzgeschichten und Aufsätzen ist ein weiterer Schwerpunkt.

Kunst in ihren hier dargebotenen Formen ist für mich eine Art kreatives Wirken im Schillerschen Sinn, Wille gegossen in Schöpfung, kommerzielle Interessen sind dabei zweitrangig. Wenn Dir meine Arbeiten oder meine Arbeitsweise gefallen, freue ich mich über Anfragen oder Feedback. Wenn ich mich mit einem Projekt verbinden kann, besteht auch eine Möglichkeit, dass ich mich einer Auftragsarbeit annehme - ansonsten halte ich gerade im Bereich des historischen Handwerks viel von dem Prinzip des Tauschens. Welcome to the website of Duncan Meredyth, my slightly anachronistic alias in the current Middle Ages since 1989 - Nonconformist, Swordsman, Artist, Servant of Souls (psyche therapeuein). Here you will find some of my works and illustrations, some information concerning my reenactment acticivities, as well as essays about medieval swordfighting, warrior ethics and more.

Art in all of its aspects foremost is a creative outlet to me, not a commercial interest. If you like what you see or feel drawn towards the way I do things, feel free to contact me.
